A seasoned producer with a distinct sonic footprint - from dance music to downtempo - a collector with boundless curiosity, Hugo LX is also a respected DJ capable of taking his audience on a journey to the four corners of the musical spectrum, from house to techno to funk, hip hop or Brazilian music.
His releases on the famous labels NDATL, MCDE or Balance, his remixes for many legends such as Satoshi Tomiie, Rick Wade or Karizma, as well as his performances in the most prestigious clubs from London to Tokyo have made him one of the sure values of the European scene.
Based in Paris for half a dozen years, he maintains a special link with Japan, curating the first two editions of the Japan Connection Festival in Paris alongside Kuniyuki Takahashi, and collaborating with many musicians from the archipelago.
The next few years will be rich and creative for this versatile artist, with the recent launch of his label Doma Music, numerous multidisciplinary collaborations and an album in preparation.
He has just released his new EP "The platinum wave" , composed of 5 tracks and 3 collaborations, under his new label Doma Music.
