Fabrice Dumont (bassiste de Autour de Lucie), Stephan Haeri (guitare, claviers) , et Christophe Hetier forment Télépopmusik en 1998. Musiciens accomplis, ils se lancent dans l'électro version french touch, plus par goût que par opportunisme.

Respiration

Le titre « Breathe », porté par les vocaux sublimes d'Angela McCluskey, devient vite leur étendard. Le titre se classe No 78 aux Etats-Unis et No 42 en Grande Bretagne, ingrate la France ne lui offre pas la satisfaction d'un classement national. L'album Genetic World en 2001 contient « Breathe » et bien plus, une french touch idéale pour matins radieux.

Le sexe des anges

Angel Milk en 2005 continue d'explorer les chemins sinueux d'une musique où les cordes surfent sur les boucles, où les vocaux se perdent dans un palais des glaces sonore. La France rattrappe son retard à l'allumage et permet à Angel Milk d'intégrer le classement des ventes pour huit semaines et une 79ème place encourageante. Télépopmusik prévoit de livrer un album en 2009, continuant ainsi à repeindre la planète de sons pastels.
