BRNS' fourth album, Celluloid Swamp (Oct, 2021), is a mutant chamber pop album with a smorgasbord of references spliced into sound only just recognisable as a guitar band. The Brussels-based four-piece sound more overtly settled as outsiders in a mainstream space. BRNS is more boldly aligned to the neo-dadaist manifesto laid out as the parameters for the band at its genesis in 2010: to make music free of inhibition; a space where anything goes. Whether that be in production (taking a cut and paste approach to smash apart what they initially intended and reassemble it) or in genre (embracing R&B into their indie-rock DNA) - or at myriad other aspects in its assembly - inventiveness poured out of BRNS in the three years spent creating this record like never before.

Environmentally friendly products

The Re-Vinyl offers you a sustainable alternative. The vinyl record is produced using 100% recycled materials from the in-house material recovery directly at the pressing plant Optimal Media in Germany (Our exclusive partner for pressing).

Whether as Black and or as Coloured Re-Vinyl with random colour composition, all records are with the DIN standards for industrially manufactured vinyl records.

The PVC granulate is obtained by the shredding of edge trimmings and production returns and is free of paper residues and dirt.

Every vinyl record is one of a kind: the colour composition depends on the raw material available and cannot be selected freely.

Sustainability and ecology are becoming more and more part of social consciousness, hence the need to find solutions within the production of vinyl records to reduce the use of fossil raw materials and CO2 emissions.

BioVinyl is a sustainable product made from bio-based PVC and is proven to be the most reliable alternative to PVC on the market.

The oil formerly necessary for the production of S-PVC is replaced here by the recycling of used cooking oils or industrial waste gases for a quality identical to a conventional standard or color pressing.

In addition, the entire BioVinyl manufacturing process is subject to ISCC PLUS certification, which guarantees a responsible and sustainable PVC sector in terms of the circular economy and transparency in the supply chain.
