Il aura fallu peu de temps au jeune et prometteur producteur Kmyle pour se frayer un beau chemin dans le paysage électronique européen, avec une dizaine d’EPs sortis sur de grands labels comme Clergy, ARTS, Mord, Materia et premier LP acclamé, ‘Northern Landscapes’ sur Skryptöm, affirmant son goût et son talent pour une techno épurée et contemplative, technique et mélodique, élégante et
percussive.
Aujourd’hui, Kmyle fait sa première apparition sur Astropolis Records, festival dont il est proche, avec l’EP ‘Keroual’, un maxi contemporain et singulier révélant tout son génie et sa technique avec 3 titres, et une relecture du vétéran français et boss de Construct Re-form Zadig, aux accents hardcore.
L’EP démarre avec le track éponyme ‘Keroual’, clin d’oeil à l’écrin du festival brestois. Un beau voyage dans son côté enchanteur et organique, avec une large palette électronique, entre mélodies contemplatives et chords lumineux. Un track aussi méditatif que dansant, qu’on appréciera sur le dancefloor comme chez soi.
Samy augmente radicalement le tempo sur l’A2 avec ‘Telegraph’, dévoilant toute la versatilité du producteur et nous plongeant dans les ténèbres et une sombre danse sous tension. Une techno hypnotique orchestrée par une mélodie habitée et une bassline percussive.
Sur la face B, ‘Synchopa’ se poursuit avec la même énergie et semble taillé pour un grand dancefloor avec son kick frontal. L’intro annonce le ton d’une techno fracassante et se fait surprendre par des atmosphères énigmatiques, avec une mélodie dramatique, intense et crépitante et des chords euphorisants. Un banger martelant et un groove dark et contagieux.
L’EP se clôture avec un remix de haute volée avec Zadig, qui signe une relecture totalement différente de ‘Keroual’ avec un remix revisité par son alter-ego hardcore ‘Day is Dying’. Kick obsédant, rave old school et vibe 90’s, l’univers est violent, raw
et intense.

percussive.
Today, Kmyle makes his first appearance on Astropolis Records, a festival he is close to, with the EP 'Keroual', a contemporary and singular EP revealing all his genius and technique with 3 tracks, and a replay of the French veteran and Construct Re-form boss Zadig, with hardcore accents.
The EP kicks off with the eponymous track 'Keroual', a nod to the Brest festival setting. A beautiful journey in its enchanting and organic side, with a wide electronic palette, between contemplative melodies and luminous chords. A track as meditative as it is danceable, to be enjoyed on the dancefloor as well as at home.
Samy radically increases the tempo on A2 with 'Telegraph', revealing all the versatility of the producer and plunging us into darkness and a dark dance under tension. Hypnotic techno orchestrated by a lived-in melody and percussive bassline.
On the B-side, 'Synchopa' continues with the same energy and seems to be made for a big dancefloor with its frontal kick. The intro sets the tone for smashing techno and is surprised by enigmatic atmospheres, with a dramatic, intense and crackling melody and euphoric chords. A pounding banger and a dark, infectious groove.
The EP closes with a high-flying remix with Zadig, who does a totally different take on 'Keroual' with a remix revisited by his hardcore alter-ego 'Day is Dying'. Haunting kick, old school rave and 90's vibe, the universe is violent, raw
and intense.
