Garçon Voyage is the first single in French from Courrier Sud's upcoming EP on Délicieuse Records. The song paints a fresco of that special and unsettling moment at the beginning of a relationship when one of the two falls in love, but isn't sure if they'll be loved in return. Its rhythm is heady like a beating heart, set to a mix of minimalist synths, somewhere between Metronomy and Flavien Berger.
Rayane Kara's musical project, Courrier Sud, was born from the union of the two cultures in which he grew up: North African and French. Named in homage to Saint-Exupéry and his cruel tales of l'Aéropostale, his music has a melancholy and sincere sound, navigating between pop and electronica, claiming influences from Tellier, Air and Gainsbourg. After his first single, 'Dreams', was picked up by the prestigious Birp.FM and Hype Machine, he was soon contacted by Kitsuné to take part in their annual Parisien compilation with his track 'Sur Ma Bossa'. A North American tour followed, starting in Montreal and ending with a double date in New York. During the health crisis-related concert break, the young artist releases 'You Be The Sun', the first single from the winter 2020 compilation by French label Bon Entendeur. At the same time, he signed an exclusive contract with Délicieuse Musique, whose forthcoming tracks were recorded at the legendary Motorbass studio. In 2021, he releases the first single from his first EP: 'Fool Moon'.
