Is it possible to withdraw my order directly from your offices?

On-site withdrawal is not possible yet.

Can I change the delivery address of my order?

Our general conditions as well as those of the banking establishments attached to our platform, Stripe and PayPal, stipulate that when placing an order, the delivery address must be identical to the postal address registered in the Stripe or PayPal account used for the payment. Thus, any change of address must be subject to an order cancellation, then a new order with the two identical addresses.

Ce patineur culte de San Francisco est mondialement connu pour être l'un des membres originaux de la légendaire équipe « Bones Brigade ». Multi-instrumentiste accompli, son âme décontractée est appréciée de tous ceux qui se sont laissés bercer par son éclat.

Il y a quelque chose d'élémentaire dans cette musique qui fait vibrer l'âme. D'une beauté saisissante et instantanément addictive, c'est une sorte de magie funk, mélodique et basée sur le groove. Le jeu est empreint de sérénité et de cœur, il rayonne de chaleur et de splendeur, comme s'il avait été conçu pour des couchers de soleil sans fin. Ses albums qui ont fait surface sur Mo Wax au début du siècle ont été chéris depuis leur sortie et ce sont deux de ses albums les plus importants que nous avons l'honneur de réintroduire.

Les originaux ont été pressés discrètement sur un seul morceau de vinyle. Nous avons donc travaillé en étroite collaboration avec Tommy cette année pour vous proposer ces nouvelles éditions limitées. Ils ont été remastérisés avec amour, gravés bien fort sur un double vinyle épais et présentés dans une pochette de luxe.

A Little Bit Of Somethin' est un joyau majestueux et silencieux. Remplis des « loose grooves » horizontaux de Guerrero, ces instrumentaux brefs mais novateurs font preuve d'une grande variété et, en tant que tels, constituent un LP qui porte bien son nom. Enchanté du début à la fin, il a été immédiatement considéré comme essentiel lors de sa sortie sur Mo Wax en 2000. Il a remarquablement bien vieilli.

Tout au long de cette collection inspirée, la simplicité est la clé. En la déployant, Guerrero présente un paysage sonore mélodique magnifiquement conçu. L'approche distinctive et mélodieuse de son style de guitare, qui mêle des motifs brésiliens, cubains, mexicains, soul et jazz, est à la fois étonnamment nouvelle et terriblement familière. Sur fond de percussion, la musique libère un flux cristallin de fréquences bienfaisantes qui créent une atmosphère fragile et hypnotique.

Chaque morceau dure environ trois minutes et, en l'absence de finition en studio ou d'engagement envers la structure traditionnelle des chansons, il est surprenant de voir comment ce disque énigmatique demande de l'attention. Pourtant, grâce à son doux dynamisme et à son jeu impressionnant, c'est exactement ce qu'il fait. Bien que résolument discrète, cette esthétique lo-fi semble véritablement organique et remarquablement personnelle ; sa puissante intimité crée une véritable connexion. C'est ce qui rend cet album si cher à ceux qui ont la chance de le connaître déjà. De la pochette emblématique de Margaret Kilgallen à la musique contenue dans l'album, tout se fait brillamment et sans effort.

Les idées musicales de Guerrero sont constamment convaincantes, ce qui rend impossible la sélection des meilleurs morceaux. La dérive laconique de l'album touche aux exercices de jazz-fusion et aux tambours hip-hop au ralenti, au post-rock expérimental à la Tortoise et aux textures sonores cinématographiques. C'est à la fois brumeux, léger et sautillant, mais aussi sombre et bluesy. L'âme latine d'El Chicano se mêle au jazz léger de Grant Green. En utilisant des guitares et des boîtes à rythmes pour créer une tapisserie rythmique dépouillée de chansons envoûtantes et addictives, il y a même des traces de The Durutti Column.
