Through a lot of various influences coming from the earth and it’s four elements, Fakear uses his music as a fifth one to create a chemistry that only him can produce. Always sincere weather on record or playing live, Fakear carries a lot of emotions that people can relate to, creating a fanbase that keeps on growing all around the world as he continues to hit the road with love and passion.
Native of the Britanny coast in France, Douchka blew up in less than a year. After his participation to the 2015 Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo, he quickly joined the Nowadays Crew. With a few original productions and a bunch of warmly welcomed remixes, Douchka released his first EP with a live version in 2015. Workaholic, he comes back a few months later with Together, and a new live played along artists like Fakear and Sango heard in a lot of festivals such as Dour, Calvi On The Rocks or Garorock.
Awir Leon is an author, singer and composer living in Amsterdam and native to Dunkerque (where he keeps working with the two other members of Unno). After the release of their first EP and an edit version in April 2016, Awir Leon went on his own on this one with an 8 track album that takes his solo project to a whole other level. Following the steps of James Blake or Chet Faker, he blesses us with the perfect combination between his voice and his producer skills.
Even if the music of Clément Bazin is made of hip-hop rhythms and sonorities, the producer refuses to go through the easy way and becomes a one-man band. After two warmly welcomed EPs in 2012 and 2013, Clément Bazin went all over the world for two years and a half as an instrumentalist for Woodkid. On a beatmaking basis that combines various beats with futuristic sonorities, Clément Bazin unleashes the different personalities feeding his music. The pianos and keyboards become entangled to build sincere and epic tracks that let free rein to the flights of an emblematic Steel pan telling an unfinished story.
Multidisciplinary artist living between Paris and the Atlantic coast, Jumo quickly made a growing trademark of his musical and visual explorations. After a year of production, Nomade is focusing on the Homeric wanderings of Jumo, a wide land made of beatmaking with cosmic synths and melodies, where a powerful beat govern the different steps of the catharsis.
Like his nomad existence (the story began in Sweden and continues between France and Japan when he’s not on a road trip across the world), Hugo’s music gathers the human and sound experiences he lived until then. After a degree of architecture specialized in the relation between sound and space, he builds his tracks around the symbiosis between melodies and textures that reflect the places, atmospheres and main events that stained the creation process. Through influences that are directly linked to his own life whether they come from ambient, hip hop and broken beat for his rhythmic parts, or from jazz and Brazilian/Japanese music for his melodies, Hugo LX creates a universe dedicate to travelling. After several years of hip hop productions, prestigious collaborations and a handful Deep House releases on the best labels of the gender, Hugo LX comes back with Akegata, new LP embodying five years of travelling. Through ambient and hip-hop beats (Doma, Flowers of Life), twinkling and cosmic samples (Dream & Realities, Ascent), or uptempo tracks that invite to dance (Hikari, November), Hugo LX carries us into a world where the unique language is the one of travelling. Supported by Resident Advisor, Mixmag, Trax, The Drone, Radio Nova
In the intersection between dreamy soundscapes, atmospheric beats and more direct, club-oriented sounds fit for the dark peak hours of the party, the 23-year-old Danish producer Sekuoia creates hypnotic electronic music with a warm, organic sensibility. Since his early releases, the young Copenhagen-based producer has remixed and produced for artists such as Tomas Barfod, Sivas and Superpoze and appeared on stage with Mø. Sekuoia is now moving further into unknown territory from here, collaborating with strong vocal artists and pushing his sound in a slightly more upbeat direction with a distinct pop sensibility.
Ikaz Boi & Monk are the two producers behind BRNFKD (to pronounce brainfucked). When the first has fun in a muscle trap gender, produced and remixed numerous rappers, the second one shapes a more delicate electronic sound. When they’re together, the chemistry works. Aggressive drums, deep bass, sharp kick and atmospheric synths, the two producers play with the electronic and hip hop music codes and navigate in a sensual, melancholic and yet powerful field of emotions.
Everydayz & Phazz
Like a confrontation that would end in a fusion, Phazz & Everydayz combined their style to create a powerful, epic music. Both young French producers, they mix modern hip-hop and trap beatmaking with soulful melodies coming straight out of the future. Through their collaboration, they managed to express as many emotions as a story can tell, with a lot of adventures to remember.
